Woody finally makes the local paper!
Hi all, i’ve (gareth) been working quite abit lately contracting at the NEC in birmingham and they have just extended it to the end of august which is great!
As for the cricket if anyone is interested our team has been abit up and down we struggle to field the same team each week and there is a few over 40’s in the team which makes it interesting!
I have been doing ok with my bowling averaging about 3 wickets per game which is good but have felt better the last 2 or 3 weeks but am really struggling with my fitness as we dont train at all!
Made the local paper 2 weeks in a row!! which is called the “Bromsgrove Standard” as i took 5 wickets in one of the games and 3 in the other! apart from that we are both very well.

Congratulations Gareth!!!! You’re almost a celebrity over there - i mean you have made the papaer enough times between your two trips, people will start to recognise you in the street soon……….. watch out for the Papparazzi! Ha ha!

sorry i missed your call on the weekend Rob (ole cat) but i was out on the field! saw chris on sunday and he said that he had also missed your call. Reminded me that when i’m out with laws next we shall definately be giving you a call mate!
